Privacy policy

This policy explains what Driveway collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

What we collect

When you order: your name, delivery address, billing address, email address and phone number. We need these to take payment, ship a pallet and contact you if the delivery goes wrong.

When you pay: nothing. Card details go directly to our payment processor and never reach our servers. We store only the last four digits and the card type, so you can recognise your own order.

When you browse: a session cookie that remembers your cart. It is deleted when you close the browser.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not email you marketing unless you asked for it, and every marketing email carries a one-click unsubscribe that works immediately.

Who else sees it

Only the parties who have to: our payment processor, and the freight carrier delivering your order. The carrier receives your name, address and phone number, and nothing else.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for seven years because tax law requires it. Everything else is deleted when you ask.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of everything we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@drivewayelectric.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will say so on this page and date the change. This version: 4 September 2026.
